The biennial SCLP Convention will be held on Saturday, November 2, as required by SC 7-9-100, at the Staybridge Suites in Florence, SC. Business conducted will include:
- Election of State Party Chair and Vice Chairs
- Proposed amendments to the State Party Rules, which can be viewed here
- Proposed amendments to the State Party Platform, which can be viewed here
- Election of delegates to the 2020 National Convention
- Time permitting, a proposed resolution regarding Convention of States

The convention will be followed in the evening by a presidential debate, featuring the six qualifying presidential candidates, at Francis Marion University.
Registration opens at 8:00.
Business to begin promptly at 9:00 and end no later than 3pm.
The convention will be immediately followed by a State Committee meeting, to elect the Treasurer and Secretary.
Persons desiring to be considered as delegates who were not elected at their county convention must provide proof of current voter registration in their county, as well as membership in the state or national party (dues paying membership not required).
