About Kasie & Casey
Kasie Whitener, PhD
Dr. Kasie Whitener is Founder of Clemson Road Creative, a shared services company and a lecturer at the University of South Carolina teaching strategic management and entrepreneurship. She hosts the radio show Write On, SC! about writing. She is the author of three books: After December (Chrysalis Press 2019), Practical Entrepreneurism (Great River Learning, 2021), and Before Pittsburgh (Chrysalis Press, 2021) and co-author of Redesign Work Volume 1: A Beginner’s Guide to Autonomy (Clemson Road Publishing 2020). She is President of the South Carolina Writers’ Association and recipient of the 2021 Fresh Voices award from South Carolina Humanities. She’s the Chair of the Richland County Libertarian Party and Vice Chair of the SC Libertarian Party’s State Committee.

Casey Crowe
Casey is an IT Systems Engineer by trade, and an Air Force veteran. He is currently the Chairman of the SC Libertarian Party, and has served as Lexington County Chair, a Presidential Elector for Jo Jorgensen and various other roles within the party.
He began his Libertarian journey in 2011 when he became disillusioned with the Iraq war and warrantless domestic spying after voting for candidate Obama to end it in 2008. He was then politically homeless as an anti-war Democrat. New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson piqued his interest and down the libertarian rabbit hole he went.
