Adam Kokesh was born February 1, 1982 in California. Mr. Kokesh was inspired to enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in 1999 because his grandfather was in WWII and because of the marines he had met. In 2004 he was promoted to Sergeant while he was deployed in Iraq. He earned a B.S. in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College. After coming home from Iraq, he became involved in political activism with Iraq Veterans Against the War. Mr. Kokesh helped organize and was the visible leader of IVAW. Then in 2008 he founded Veterans for Ron Paul. When 2010 came around the Adam vs. The Man show began, first as a radio show in Albuquerque, and then it became a TV show. Also, in 2010 he ran for the 3rd Congressional District of New Mexico. In 2013, Mr. Kokesh wrote his book FREEDOM!; it is in its fourth printing. There have been over 2 million downloads of the book and they have been free of charge. Also, in 2013, Mr. Kokesh announced his 2020 presidential bid from his jail cell. Adam has been arrested over thirty times for civil disobedience.
